I completed a few new things and a few old things. In other words, I completed a new leaf pendant, because the other one was sold to a very sweet customer. So I have posted a pic of that here. And I've completed some more bracelets and I've posted that pic here as well. But the exciting news is that I have been working on part 2 of my hollow bead tutorial, and it is almost finished. This tutorial will explain how I make the textured type of hollow beads, so stay tuned for that. This time I will be posting the tutorial here on my blog. So look for that to be posted here sometime next week! For now, it's back to work for me! Your beads are beautiful and that was thoughtful to give the tutorial, I have never tried beads but would love to someday.
Beautiful work! But I have a question. When you wrap a clay item with wire, do you do anything to harden the wire? If wrapping a stone, I would tumble the whole piece. I wrapped a clay heart, but the wire is still too bendable to sell, and I'm afraid to tumble the wire and clay together.

You know I read your blog all the time! I really enjoy it. But in regards to my wire and wrapping clay items. I buy 22 gauge, argentium, dead soft wire. It's easy to use (not too stiff or too soft) and I have found that I don't need to harden it at all. The wire stays very workable, but not too soft. Some people prefer to use half hard wire, but for me personally, the half hard wire is too hard on my hands, so I use the dead soft. Perhaps the half hard would give you what your looking for?
